Tune in: Rec_Overflow’s new album ‘Unemployed’

Rec_Overflow UnemployedThe new album of Madrid-based producer Rec_Overflow on Crazy Language was just released a few days ago and you can download for free here. If you like melodic, experimental bass music with trip-hop/IDM elements you should definitely give it a listen.

Tracks like ‘Anisette’ and ‘Isolator’ while they are melodious and melancholic they feature enough dubstep kicks to pull you out of your chair. Singer/songwriter Norbert Kristof from Budapest lends his voice on five of the numbers here (’City’ and ‘Watching Trains’ being quite exceptional), which passes through a lot of distortions and effects sometimes approaching the nowadays widespread Burial effect (though the overall music here goes to a different direction).

This is maybe also a message to all those young unemployed in countries like Spain and Greece: ‘You can be useful and creative – you just have to decide and discover’.
