Join this out-of-the ordinary gathering and let yourself go with the sounds of reggae/dub and djembe beats, next to the campfire with ital food and rum.
Roots reggae is much more than only a style of music, it represents a rich culture, it is a way of life. This unique event celebrates both the music and culture of reggae with a host of reggae DJs, a djembe group, a juggling collective, specially-prepared ital food, rum (a truly Caribbean drink) and campfire – a feast of all senses. Next to that Freegan Kolektiva’s very own DJ Life Fabrik will hit the decks for a special roots/rub-a-dub/heavy dub session.
The gathering takes place in Beit Bil Batroun (half a kilometer up the street from Batroun Arts Center), Batroun, Lebanon coming Saturday 13 October.
More specifically on the program:

This gathering offers a unique opportunity to enjoy and promote roots music and culture in Lebanon, where they are severely underrepresented – it serves also as a meeting point for the Lebanese reggae/dub/roots community to unite and join forces.
All locals and travelers in Lebanon are kindly invited to join!
