Indignants at Syntagma square, Athens

As J. Stiglitz (Economist, Nobel Prize) has bluntly stressed in his seminal book ‘Making Globalization Work’:

“As the IMF crafted policies to respond to the crises, it seemed more often to focus on saving the Western creditors than on helping the countries in crisis and their people. There was money to bail out Western banks but not for minimal food subsidies for those on the brink of starvation.”

Only the people are able to defend their sovereignty and it is time act, as Greece’s wealth is being removed from its people.

Tomorrow, Sunday, the 15th of January 2012, the people are gathered at Syntagma square from 1600hours onwards:
