I still remember some cold mornings gathering somewhere outside with lots of other people for marching protests. Sometimes after long traveling, sleeping in small spaces with dozens of other activists and just a few hours of hard sleep you find yourself outside in the cold.
Well, the most encouraging things that could happen at that moment are listening to some live music from a parade band and receiving some warm food from a mobile public kitchen or a Food Not Bombs herbal tea! After that, the spirits are high to protest fully energized and motivated.
The following video from Rebirth Brass Band playing for the homeless reminded me this feeling. The only difference here is that Rebirth Brass Band are a full ensemble of accomplished musicians, they are not just hitting the tins. Massive sound!
